Democrats are pushing for progressive policy for working people. HB238 calls for raising the minimum wage and tipped minimum wage, mandating equal pay for equal work, requiring paid sick and medical leave, ending wage theft, banning the box, repealing public employee collective bargaining restrictions, and reinstating the Earned Income Tax Credit and Child Care Tax Credits.
