Co-Chair, County to County Campaign
I am a native North Carolinian who grew up in a politically active family and community. This early engagement in NC politics combined with my interest in history motivated me to pursue degrees in English and Public History from UNC-Chapel Hill and North Carolina State University. I bring experience in strategic and organizational planning, fundraising, communications and marketing, and event planning to my work with OCDP and County to County. I believe we are most powerful when we harness grassroots energy into collaborative and productive actions; I have a strong desire to help make North Carolina more equitable, inclusive, and progressive by working to elect Democrats. My husband, Jim, and I have lived in Chapel Hill for over 30 years, where we raised our two teenage sons.
