VOTER INFO

Early Voting

No-hassle, one-stop Early Voting

October 15 – 31, 2020

No photo ID required.

Any county resident may register and vote at any of six Early Voting locations.

Registered voters can also update their address, party affiliation and fix registration issues, on the spot.

If you are voting for the first time in Orange County, you will be asked to list an ID number that was written on your voter registration form (driver’s license number or the last four digits of your Social Security number).

Alternatively, you can show a document that has your name and current address listed on it. This can be a utility bill, pay stub, bank statement, or a document from a government agency, such as a North Carolina DMV license or identification card.

If you are simultaneously registering and voting on the same day during the Early Voting period, you will need to show a document that has your name and your current address listed on it. This can be a utility bill, pay stub, bank statement, or a document from a government agency, such as a North Carolina DMV license or identification card.

If you are a college student, you may show a college ID, along with a document from your college listing your current residential address.

The Orange County Board of Elections is implementing cleaning procedures and larger spaces at Early Voting locations to ensure as safe a voting experience as possible. All poll workers will wear PPE, and PPE will be available for voters.
